American politicians-representatives of the Republican and Democratic parties-predicted a new war. The reason for the disagreement will be covid passports. This opinion was expressed by The Washington Post journalist Molly Roberts (Molly Roberts).
The author explains that the vaccination passport will be a certificate, which will probably appear in the form of a scanned code for a smartphone. At the moment, there are no such documents in the United States, or they do not exist "on any noticeable scale," Roberts notes. "Vaccination passports have nothing to do with international travel and are more about everyday life right here where we already are: in our bars, stadiums, and other businesses that want to open their doors wide again," she writes.

The United States promised Ukraine support and protection in the event of an escalation of" military aggression " by Russia. This was stated by the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry following telephone talks between the military ministers of the two countries.
So, the Ukrainian Defense Minister Andrey Tartan held a conversation with the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin against the background of reports about the pulling of Russian troops to the Ukrainian border. During the conversation, the representative of Kiev pointed to the systemic escalation of the situation in the area of the joint forces operation and Russia's unwillingness to confirm its commitment to the ceasefire regime.
His American counterpart, in turn, noted that Washington is ready to continue to support Kiev "in the context of Russia's ongoing aggression in the Donbas and Crimea."
Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky accused Russia of "muscle-flexing" on the border. "In this way, it tries to create an atmosphere of threat and pressure at the same time during the negotiations on a ceasefire and on peace as our value," he said.
On March 31, The New York Times, citing an American official, reported that Russia was allegedly pulling its troops to the border with Ukraine.
