The actions of the destroyer Defender in the Black Sea did not contradict international law, said the official representative of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, whose words are quoted by TASS.
He added that the ship carried out a peaceful passage through Ukrainian territorial waters in accordance with international law.
Thus, Johnson's representative responded to the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who, during a direct line held on June 30, called the incident in the Black Sea a complex provocation.
