#average President Biden - 2022-07-26 gas prices #price #prices #gallon - Aale#skeriut - 07-27-2022 President Biden continued to brag about gas prices falling by a small amount on Twitter Monday morning, to the mockery of users. "For American families looking for a little more breathing room, these savings matter," Biden’s presidential account tweeted. The tweet also included a graphic informing followers that "At current prices, the average driver will spend $35 less per month for one peson [sic]" or "$70 less per month for a family with two cars than they would if gas prices stayed at their peak." Washington Examiner and Daily Signal contributor Nicole Russell tweeted, "But I thought you had nothing to do with gas prices?" Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy wrote, "In other words, Americans are paying over $100 more a month per ‘peson’ to fill up their gas tanks than when Biden took office." Washington Examiner reporter Andrew Kerr noted, "The figures in Biden's tweet this morning assume the average ‘peson’ is consuming 50 gallons of gas a month per vehicle. 2 cars = 100 gallons of gas = $70 in ‘savings’ a month for the average American family, according to Biden's methodology." "Now do prices compared to a year ago, snake oil salesman," Lone Conservative founder Kassy Dillon tweeted. Biden had previously suggested that rising gas prices and inflation rates were caused by a "Putin Price Hike" due to the war in Ukraine. Since prices have fallen after their peak in June while the war rages on, the administration has started taken credit for the average price for a gallon of gas falling below $5. However, most states continue to pay more than $4 a gallon for gas, with the average price as of Monday at $4.36. When Biden took office on January 20, 2021, the average cost was $2.39 a gallon. Many users also called out the blatant typo in the graphic, using "peson" instead of "person" in an official government tweet. BIDEN MUST ‘STOP THE FALL IN GASOLINE PRICES,’ SET $5 GALLON MINIMUM TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE: BLOOMBERG OP-ED "For one 'peson'? That's great. I hate paying too much for a peson! Peson inflation is a bane on the nation's economy!" Washington Times reporter Mike Glenn tweeted. Townhall.com editor Rebecca Downs wrote, "Who spellchecked this…? What is a ‘peson?’" "How many people were involved in planning, designing, editing and sending this poster? Minimum of five, probably a lot more. Yet it still went out with a glaring typo. Tells you a lot about how this White House is staffed and run," tweeted Hans Mahncke, co-host of "Truth Over News" on EpochTV. 42388 2896439 7955261 1216546 9965706 1601544 9931262 8539448 9725134 5740869 5537929 2074137 9744335 1753992 6034197 968522 7519371 3346330 8595210 1797830 6927467 2424155 2834434 551302 5049156 7568711 5066810 3340843 2591316 537022 2669799 7552404 6508339 3736693 3364404 7652836 5917279 4171739 6780217 2373537 4891454 1798418 8136045 2489742 8237781 2779762 6382922 918448 8846203 602794 1654956 9342152 7701507 520994 9368712 8094181 158648 5299910 824908 8502229 4566893 2730136 2630351 9433101 1851114 7870544 9822209 2240285 7119438 5507683 6461 835684 6920577 776985 8358717 6114343 8217276 8433361 5859790 6439626 7690868 3737405 5562580 8408231 2457243 407538 4277628 4624155 5792035 3634881 9493340 7686009 3965861 8610632 3891045 2122896 2766858 7538844 2281411 8476040 4821934 603829 8327397 6273041 1301176 8861185 883050 5081382 4096285 9530019 2286088 5388629 7079152 6631459 3473033 3510946 7519766 2468266 3232048 7252362 1266802 7898958 1455035 1540305 7778411 1885154 8725799 5740403 3610445 3262775 7095283 6893268 5429085 234125 9371243 5565727 6174545 5519854 6789466 3554215 443391 7665018 7387808 5151112 7693354 1447693 9944021 6195645 4374287 2869375 811432 7624015 8551941 6700585 3492905 2743152 3153187 7037067 3316569 9938872 6392151 3843849 2028747 5053385 503108 955352 9669255 123498 2342379 3499377 |
