#price President Biden - 2022-07-26 gas prices #month #month #peson - Aale#skeriut - 07-27-2022 President Biden continued to brag about gas prices falling by a small amount on Twitter Monday morning, to the mockery of users. "For American families looking for a little more breathing room, these savings matter," Biden’s presidential account tweeted. The tweet also included a graphic informing followers that "At current prices, the average driver will spend $35 less per month for one peson [sic]" or "$70 less per month for a family with two cars than they would if gas prices stayed at their peak." Washington Examiner and Daily Signal contributor Nicole Russell tweeted, "But I thought you had nothing to do with gas prices?" Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy wrote, "In other words, Americans are paying over $100 more a month per ‘peson’ to fill up their gas tanks than when Biden took office." Washington Examiner reporter Andrew Kerr noted, "The figures in Biden's tweet this morning assume the average ‘peson’ is consuming 50 gallons of gas a month per vehicle. 2 cars = 100 gallons of gas = $70 in ‘savings’ a month for the average American family, according to Biden's methodology." "Now do prices compared to a year ago, snake oil salesman," Lone Conservative founder Kassy Dillon tweeted. Biden had previously suggested that rising gas prices and inflation rates were caused by a "Putin Price Hike" due to the war in Ukraine. Since prices have fallen after their peak in June while the war rages on, the administration has started taken credit for the average price for a gallon of gas falling below $5. However, most states continue to pay more than $4 a gallon for gas, with the average price as of Monday at $4.36. When Biden took office on January 20, 2021, the average cost was $2.39 a gallon. Many users also called out the blatant typo in the graphic, using "peson" instead of "person" in an official government tweet. BIDEN MUST ‘STOP THE FALL IN GASOLINE PRICES,’ SET $5 GALLON MINIMUM TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE: BLOOMBERG OP-ED "For one 'peson'? That's great. I hate paying too much for a peson! Peson inflation is a bane on the nation's economy!" Washington Times reporter Mike Glenn tweeted. Townhall.com editor Rebecca Downs wrote, "Who spellchecked this…? What is a ‘peson?’" "How many people were involved in planning, designing, editing and sending this poster? Minimum of five, probably a lot more. Yet it still went out with a glaring typo. Tells you a lot about how this White House is staffed and run," tweeted Hans Mahncke, co-host of "Truth Over News" on EpochTV. 7657598 4144645 5389172 1102009 6768994 1439934 2968997 6582791 2397210 2196062 7405722 9891091 3762278 9175715 3304593 5488076 7881641 8537778 4309720 3395204 1341816 3067898 1156119 8802811 5200009 1087798 8079951 3524202 9126576 1507595 9952699 1006014 3358862 7986213 4961360 9132031 9571188 7675813 194264 7527348 4266539 2509210 9970725 8573923 754153 3508975 9263575 3878321 8338013 1085534 7040017 387696 9794327 6782414 6890386 2888680 726893 4455364 4771931 2101365 6903434 1332974 6213324 83577 8174572 1947182 7829777 7171527 43524 391819 486140 7175939 6500980 8875963 3950647 40275 223790 3054106 5397228 3692941 8700258 7077127 6577395 9312885 7420108 3867770 7024623 6714345 3678040 8551809 3126104 9077377 7118385 5546952 5405380 8750501 5601433 2250114 8866817 8328171 7478401 4813420 3735995 3735551 3885047 3967924 6441977 8529394 7130355 1360408 3197194 1146954 3791950 9379450 997020 9297846 3591898 9941127 3403106 8253552 7666222 188900 944230 2212278 2310100 5589689 8474807 489955 6789330 3401237 4350972 2743440 6330562 1952247 8741569 9942804 3858101 3734248 951187 318223 6591467 2757235 8062043 1985572 6090949 9138615 9777927 6497901 2839223 6404699 6775375 10798 8960163 9454849 2433603 1292686 5171260 3681395 275584 8309747 546880 8187104 1965713 7587056 6207094 8597207 3208086 3069512 6516564 7407198 |
