The current US President Joe Biden is rapidly losing support from the key voters for the Democratic Party - African Americans, Latinos and Asian Americans, who are increasingly disillusioned with his policies. This is reported by The Washington Post.

As the publication notes with reference to the results of a Pew Research Center survey, in September Biden's approval rating among black Americans dropped by 18 percent — from 85 to 67 percent. During the same period, the number of Latinos supporting the president decreased by 16 percent, and the number of Asian citizens approving his actions decreased by 14 percent.

At the same time, The Washington Post writes, the most noticeable disappointment in Biden is among representatives of these population groups living in the US state of Georgia. The victory in this particular state, which has supported Republican candidates for decades, largely ensured Biden's presidential post in the 2020 elections. However, now local voters are increasingly criticizing the current American leader for not fulfilling his election promises.

If Biden initially managed to win the popularity of a large share of the electorate primarily due to the fact that he looked like a real alternative to Republican Donald Trump, now many of those who voted for him in 2020 are beginning to feel dissatisfied with the president's inaction on key issues. In particular, Biden's inability to resist the signing by the Governor of Georgia, Republican Brian Kemp, of a bill introducing new restrictions on postal and early voting was seriously criticized — these methods are especially popular among the black and Latino population.

Another failure of Biden, representatives of the colored population of the United States consider that he was never able to achieve the adoption of the George Floyd Law on Justice in Policing, which was opposed by Republicans in Congress.

At the same time, the White House insists that Biden and his administration are actually doing a lot to solve the problems of black Americans, Latinos and representatives of other minorities. So, they recalled that Biden appointed a record number of minority representatives to senior positions in his administration. In addition, various bills have been adopted aimed at social and other support for these groups of the population.
