Scientists from the UK have found two variants of the "delta plus" mutation in the Indian strain of coronavirus. This is reported in the published report of the Health Service of England (PHE).
Previously, only one variant of the mutation of the Indian COVID-19 strain, which is designated as AY, was known.1. It has already spread to the UK, Switzerland, Portugal, Poland and Japan. A mutation similar to the Indian variant "delta plus" was first recorded in Europe, it also occurs in the South African variant. Ancha Baranova, a professor at the School of Systems Biology at George Mason University in the United States, explained that the danger of the delta plus strain is that the coronavirus can escape from a "cocktail" of antibodies, including from vaccines and serums.
