Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on additional social guarantees for servicemen and their family members. The full list of state support is published on the Kremlin's website.

"The Head of State signed a decree on additional social guarantees for servicemen, persons serving in the National Guard of the Russian Federation, and their family members," the document says.

In the event of the death of servicemen on the territories of the republics of Donbass and Ukraine, as well as on the territory of Syria, a one-time payment of 5 million rubles is made to their family members, the decree says.

On March 5, the Russian leader also signed a decree on simplifying entry into Russia from the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) and Ukraine. According to the decree, foreign citizens and stateless persons can enter the Russian Federation from the territory of the republics and Ukraine and travel further to their countries without a visa on identity documents.
