Российские ученые получили первые научные подтверждения феномена посмертной медитации, известного в Тибете как «тукдам». Об этом сообщает РИА Новости.

Речь идет о состоянии, в котором несколько дней или недель могут находиться буддийские монахи, пояснил основатель Института мозга человека РАН академик Святослав Медведев. Считается, что медитация умирающего монаха продолжает его посмертное бытие, а его тело становится нетленным.

Ученые с помощью аппаратуры обследовали 104 буддийских монахов, которые выполняли медитации, рекомендованные Далай-ламой, и пришли к выводу, что «состояние тела монаха, находящегося в состоянии тукдам, кардинально отличается от состояния тел с аналогичными сроками после смерти. То есть мы получили первые научные подтверждения состояния тукдам», — сказал Медведев.

В исследованиях также участвуют профессор биологического факультета МГУ Александр Каплан, руководитель отдела психологии и психофизиологии Института медико-биологический проблем РАН профессор Юрий Бубеев и другие российские ученые.

В июле 2020 года 85-летний буддистский лидер Далай-лама XIV дал обещание прожить до 113 лет. Как отмечается в его послании, Далай-лама прошел долгий жизненный путь, решив посвятить себя распространению общечеловеческих ценностей: любви, доброты, сострадания и терпимости. Также Далай-лама призвал всех жить «в духе диалога, единения и дружбы», проявлять ко всем уважение и не применять насилие.

В 2019 году официальный представитель МИД КНР Лу Кан заявил, что перерождение живых будд, включая Далай-ламу, должно состояться согласно законам Китая. Так власти отреагировали на слова Далай-ламы о том, что он, возможно, переродится в Индии, где он жил в изгнании на протяжении 60 лет. До этого Далай-лама высказывал опасения, что XV духовный лидер Тибета будет назначен по указанию пекинских властей.
