The State Department has disclosed the amount spent by the United States on Ukraine since 2014. This was reported in the department on the eve of the visit of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Kiev, the relevant information is posted on the official website.
According to the State Department, Washington has allocated more than $ 4.6 billion to Ukraine "as a total amount of assistance, including security-related and non-security-related assistance." The ministry also said that more than $ 49 million was provided to Kiev to fight the spread of coronavirus infection.
Earlier, Senator Alexey Pushkov explained Ukraine's foreign policy. In his opinion, it depends entirely on Washington. He noted that Ukraine for 30 years of existence has not managed to overcome the lack of historical statehood.
