French President Emmanuel Macron called the condition for the development of new sanctions against Russia. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
He noted that the leaders of the EU countries carried out coordinated work and recorded the preparation of additional sanctions. Macron said that they will be prepared in case of deterioration of the situation in Ukraine.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation to protect Donbass. He called the denazification of Ukraine its goal. After that, a number of Western countries imposed tough sanctions against Russia. In addition, many foreign companies have suspended work in Russia.
